Winter Holidays in San Juan del Sur & Tola – Nicaragua

We can’t believe it either, we are already in the 2nd month of 2020 and it feels like 2019 just ended! As the new year barrels on we wanted to briefly recap 2019 as we look towards the future.

Last year was a year of growth on both the personal and professional front. Belkys launched her clothing store Vintage Coleccion, and we formally established Team Invest Nicaragua to better serve the real estate markets of San Juan del Sur and Tola. We spent a large portion of the year building out our website and social media presence to provide more exposure for our sellers as well as ourselves in an effort to reach more buyers and share our experience about living, investing, and building a business in Nicaragua. We were also busy selling real estate!

We continued to remodel our Commercial Plaza, Annie’s Market, and made major strides to the completion of the project. Our office is almost complete and the outdoor space which is more than 50% finished will be completed in the near future to provide exterior space for our existing tenants, our clients, as well as the community. We also partnered with some clients on a multi-unit building in town where we did a major remodel to improve the infrastructure and aesthetics of the building. We continue to challenge ourselves with new goals while staying committed to developing and investing in the communities & real estate markets in San Juan del Sur & Tola, as well as Nicaragua as a whole.

Our biggest news from 2019 is that we will have another beautiful daughter who will be joining our family in May 2020. We are beyond thrilled to have another addition to our growing family and cannot wait to meet our new little bundle of joy.

We were blessed to have family and friends come visit us for the 2019 holiday season and we had a blast entertaining them.
