Leslie W. Stewart IV

A Brooklyn, New York native, Leslie is a real estate entrepreneur and the founder of Invest Nicaragua. Leslie approaches every project & transaction with a unique combination of global industry expertise and a 360° perspective of living and investing in Nicaragua. After working in commercial real estate in Los Angeles, Leslie arrived in Nicaragua with the United States Peace Corps in 2011. Leslie taught entrepreneurship to high school students and small business owners in the city of Rivas. During his service, he began to witness the country’s rapid growth and increased global recognition, which presented an opportunity he could not pass up: ground-level entry into the hottest emerging real estate market in Central America. Upon finishing his Peace Corps service in 2014, Leslie moved to San Juan del Sur to follow his own dreams of beachside living, property ownership, and entrepreneurial freedom.

After six years of working as a top producing agent with RE/MAX (and being named agent of the year in 2016 for the RE/MAX Caribbean and Central America Region), Leslie founded Invest Nicaragua with a vision to elevate the client experience by leveraging his grassroots insights, on-the-ground experience, and global real estate network.

Leslie is an active investor and developer, involved in commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects in Nicaragua. With these experiences to guide him, Leslie’s approach is always informed by pragmatic decision-making rooted in the realities of the market. Leslie lives in San Juan Del Sur full-time with his wife & business partner Belkys, and their three young children.

Belkys Carcache

Belkys is a real estate agent, industrial engineer, and founding member of Invest Nicaragua. Belkys has helped guide Invest Nicaragua’s vision of a more sustainable, opportunity-rich future for the community she calls home. Born and raised in Rivas, Belkys has witnessed San Juan Del Sur grow from dirt roads and horse carts into the bustling town it is today. After moving to San Juan Del Sur with Leslie in 2014, Belkys began to study real estate and train alongside her husband, learning the ropes and setting the foundation for a team of their own.

Belkys has a deep interest in the development of her home country and is passionate about using her entrepreneurial spirit to sustain this momentum. Belkys is the owner of a successful clothing boutique, Vintage Collection, located in Annie’s Market, Invest Nicaragua’s staple commercial plaza in San Juan del Sur.

Christina Alty

Christina, a Texas native, spent her first years after college working as a journalist and public relations professional before finding her passion in real estate. She joined Invest Nicaragua after building a successful real estate career in Dallas, Texas, and developing a desire to help other families fulfill their personal and real estate goals in San Juan del Sur.

Before moving to Nicaragua permanently, she negotiated and bought property south of San Juan del Sur. With her family by her side, she undertook the journey to design and build a home. Shortly after completion, they came on a one-month vacation and never left. They now call the southern area of San Juan Del Sur home.

As the mother of two children, she could not be more thrilled with the opportunities for exploration, education, and growth that San Juan del Sur offers.

The move to Nicaragua has been a dream since her first visit in 2013. She loves the lifestyle and freedom that Nicaragua offers her and her family, and hopes to share her passion for the county with others. Christina brings the first-hand experience of living and investing in Nicaragua and loves to help her clients realize their dream of a new life and/or investment in this tropical Paradise that she calls home.

Carmen Castillo

Carmen Castillo, a proud Nicaraguan native, brings over a decade of experience in construction, project management, interior design, property management, and luxury real estate sales. Before joining Invest Nicaragua, she built a successful career in the Tola region’s luxury real estate market, where she found her true passion: helping families and investors find their place in paradise.

Based in Rivas since 2015, Carmen fell in love with the stunning beaches of Tola—places like Guacalito, Rancho Santana, Hacienda Iguana, and Popoyo—which she considers hidden gems with unmatched beauty and potential. She is driven by a strong desire to share this unique lifestyle with clients worldwide.

As a mother, Carmen values Tola’s peace, community, and educational opportunities. Her experience gives her a unique perspective when guiding families relocating or investing in the area.

In addition to her real estate career, Carmen is the founder and owner of a successful marketing company. Her background in digital strategy adds significant value to her clients, helping them position, market, or discover properties more effectively.
